I have been visiting Ukraine about 10 years now and I love Ukrainian cuisine. But I also understand that it maybe not right for all you western men, who come here for the first time. You should try varenyky, borsch and other dishes, but if you really can’t handle it, here is my advice for you:

"GO TO MC DONALDS!!"
 
I would not advice people to go to McDonald’s quickly, but about one thing you can be sure, where ever you eat in the world, Mc Donald’s food tastes the same and if you can handle it in the USA or Europe, you will be able to have a relaxing week in Ukraine as well. )) And beside that, in Kiev you pay only about 2,50 Euros for a Big MAC.
